Abstract(s)
The aim of this work is to present an approach for wood-wood-wood (W-W-W) connections design at high temperatures, using a glued laminated in birch timber GL28h, and steel dowelled connectors. All calculations will be performed to determine the cross-section and the number of fasteners at ambient temperature. The designed connection will be considered protected or unprotected with extra-thickness for high temperatures. All requirements.
according standards (Eurocode 5: parts 1-1 and 1-2) were conducted to design the W-W-W
connection at high temperatures and evaluate the fire resistance time of the element.
