La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los Intereses
Marítimos en la economía del Ecuador durante los años 2012 al 2017, basado en los
conceptos de la doctrina básica de la Armada del Ecuador y la teoría económica que
permita demostrar la importancia del territorio marítimo ecuatoriano en la actividad
económica. En ese sentido, en primer lugar se menciona los conceptos referentes
a los componentes de los Intereses Marítimos. Luego, se pretende determinar la
Conciencia Marítima del Ecuador a través de un modelo de regresión lineal durante
el periodo propuesto. Además, se calcula los Recursos Pesqueros con respecto al
Continente Americano basado en la ecuación de Índice de ventaja comparativa.
Asimismo, se analiza la influencia de los puertos, infraestructura y flota mercante
ecuatoriana en la economía del país; la infraestructura y ciencia y tecnología con
respecto al Producto Interno Bruto (PIB); los organismos internacionales como
instrumentos jurídicos para la explotación de los recursos del mar. Por último,
se analiza el componente de Economía Marítima con respecto al PIB del Ecuador
durante ese periodo.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the Maritime Interests in the economy of Ecuador during the years 2012 to 2017, based on the concepts of the basic doctrine of the Navy of Ecuador and the economic theory that allows to demonstrate the importance of the Ecuadorian maritime territory in the economic activity. In that sense, the concepts related to the components of Maritime Interests are mentioned first. Then, it is intended to determine the Maritime Consciousness of Ecuador through a linear regression model during the proposed period. In addition, Fishery Resources are calculated with respect to the American Continent based on the Comparative advantage Index equation. Likewise, the influence of the ports, infrastructure and Ecuadorian merchant fleet on the economy of the country is analyzed; infrastructure and science and technology with respect to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP); international organizations as legal instruments for the exploitation of sea resources. Finally, the Maritime Economy component is analyzed with respect to Ecuador’s GDP during that period.
