  • Cidadania da criança: escola e sociedade como palcos de participação

    A visibilidade do conceito de participação infantil começa a efectuar-se a partir do momento em que a infância se consagra como um grupo social a quem são reconhecidos direitos e que convertem a criança num ator social. Partindo do pressuposto que a cidadania da criança terá sempre implícita a noção de participação infantil, neste artigo discutem-se questões referentes à cidadania, problematiza-se a participação da criança em cenários que possam valorizar a sua voz, procura-se promover a imagem da criança-cidadã socialmente comprometida e fomenta-se a compreensão das diversas linguagens da infância. The visibility of the concept of child participation begins to take place from the moment that childhood has established itself as a social group who are recognized rights and that convert the child in a social actor. On the assumption that the citizenship of the child will always implied the notion of children's participation, this article discusses issues relating to citizenship, problematizes the child's participation in scenarios that can enhance your voice, seeks to promote the image of the citizen-child committed socially and promotes the understanding of childhood languages.

  • Educomunicação: um novo campo para intervenção do Educador Social

    O presente artigo resulta de uma investigação acerca dos contributos que a Educomunicação poderá dar à Educação Social, desenvolvida na Universidade Portucalense, no âmbito do Mestrado em Ciências da Educação – Especialização em Educação Social, que nos permitiu concluir que a Educomunicação é um novo e importante campo para a Educação Social, que permitirá alargar os conhecimentos do Educador Social, assim como o seu âmbito de actuação profissional. Na nossa opinião, trata-se de uma investigação original e inovadora, dado que a Educomunicação não suscitou, pelo menos até agora e quanto conseguimos apurar, particular interesse por parte da investigação em Portugal. This article results from a research on the contributions Educommunication can give to Social Education. This work was carried out at the University Portucalense within the scope of the Master of Science in Education – Specialization in Social Education, which allowed us to conclude that Educommunication is an important new field for Social Education. This process will extend the knowledge of the Social Educator, as well as the scope of his/her professional behaviour. In our opinion, this is an original and innovative research since it is a fairly unexplored topic in Portuguese research so far.
