JoaquimThe main objective of this work is the development of a modular and scalable data acquisition system with wireless communication, applicable in various industries and capable of handling different magnitudes. To achieve this objective, three specific goals were established: to develop a Lite version of the existing acquisition system, to create a wireless scalable and modular version, and to elaborate a protocol that ensures scalability. Throughout the work, communication tests using the UDP protocol were performed, as well as scalability and modularity tests. Additionally, an innovative protocol was developed to guarantee the system’s scalability without the need for complex configurations in the WiFi network. The test results were conclusive, demonstrating the efficiency and functionality of the proposed system. This dissertation contributes to technological advancement and industrial process efficiency, driving improvements and innovations in the field of data acquisition. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the proposed objectives were satisfactorily achieved, highlighting the data acquisition system as a promising solution for monitoring and controlling magnitudes in the industry.
