Abstract(s)
This study investigated the influence of teleworking on both organizations and employees, emphasising organisational adaptations, the use of technologies, and the balance between personal and professional life. The main objective of this research was to analyze how companies and employees adjusted to this new reality, particularly in the post-COVID-19 pandemic context. The research employed a qualitative methodology, with semi-structured interviews conducted with 12 participants from different fields, whose responses were examined to identify the main challenges and benefits of teleworking. The results revealed that telework offered greater flexibility and autonomy to workers, allowing for a better balance between personal and professional responsibilities. However, challenges emerged, such as difficulty in maintaining clear boundaries between remote work and personal life, as well as frequent interruptions in the home environment, which affected the productivity of some interviewees. Communication technologies such as Zoom and Google Meet were essential to ensure operations continuity and collaboration. It is concluded that, despite the benefits, such as increased flexibility and autonomy in remote work, companies need to implement clear support and structuring policies to address challenges and promote the well-being of their workers.
