(2020). Performance assessments on three different motor competence testing batteries in girls aged 7–10. Sport Sciences for Health. ISSN 1824-7490. 16:4, p. 747-7531824-7490http://hdl.handle.net/10198/22109The purpose of this study was to correlate and compare performances of 164 healthy girls between 7 and 10 years of age on three different MC testing batteries, namely the Gross Motor Development Test—3rd edition (TGMD-3), the Körperkoordinationstest für Kinder (KTK), and the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency—2nd edition Short Form (BOT-2 SF). To do so, partial correlation and ANOVA were conducted and as expected older age groups generally performed better in the three test batteries compared to their younger peers. Low-to-moderate partial correlations (0.04–0.46) were found among assessments. In conclusion, the results showed that the KTK and the BOT-2 SF gross motor composite share some common MC aspects while the BOT-2 SF fine motor composite and the TGMD-3 may assess different aspects of MCengChildhoodGirlsMotor coordinationMotor skillsPerformance assessments on three different motor competence testing batteries in girls aged 7–10journal article10.1007/s11332-020-00653-3
