In this work, a systematic study of the solubilities of D-glucose in water/ethanol mixtures at 40°C and 60°C is presented. A modified UNIQUAC model is proposed for the correlation of the experimental ternary solubility data. New UNIQUAC parameters for D-glucose/ethanol are presented. The solubility calculations were performed using an equation based on enthalpy of fusion data.
