A motivação é um dos principais fatores no âmbito do ensino de línguas estrangeiras a determinar o sucesso ou insucesso do aluno durante a sua aprendizagem. Contudo, manter os alunos motivados durante toda a prática de ensino nem sempre é uma tarefa fácil, acontecendo frequentemente casos de desmotivação.
Este relatório de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, apresentado à Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, no âmbito do curso de Mestrado em Ensino de Inglês e de Espanhol no Ensino Básico, apresenta metodologias e técnicas de ensino com as atividades implementadas durante as práticas de ensino nos três ciclos do Ensino Básico. Estas técnicas têm por objetivo promover a motivação dos alunos durante a aprendizagem de línguas estrangeiras e são assentes nas fundamentações teóricas e orientações curriculares existentes. Motivation is the main factor in teaching foreign languages that determines the success or failure of the students during their learning. However, keeping students motivated throughout the teaching practice is not always an easy task and, very often, cases of no motivation persist.
This report presented to the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança is the result of the Supervised Teaching Practice undertaken within the context of the Master’s Degree in the Teaching of English and Spanish in Basic School. It aims at discussing methodologies and teaching techniques implemented during teaching practice in the three cycles of basic education. These techniques were designed to promote students' motivation for learning foreign languages and are based on theoretical theories and existing curriculum guidelines.
