Abstract(s)
Vivemos numa sociedade onde a informação é indubitavelmente importante e a Internet o
principal meio de comunicação acessível e útil a pessoas com ocupações e interesses diversos.
Cientes desta realidade, as instituições educativas passaram a disponibilizar informação
promocional e de divulgação da oferta educativa, entre outros conteúdos educativos, para a sua
comunidade educativa. Assim, a principal finalidade deste estudo foi analisar a presença Web
institucional das Escolas Secundárias não Agrupadas e Agrupamentos de Escolas públicas do
distrito de Bragança na Internet.
Consequentemente, este estudo teve como intuito não só verificar, se as páginas Web
dessas instituições escolares apresentam os conteúdos e a informação requerida pelos agentes
educativos, mas também se as actividades desenvolvidas nas instituições escolares promovem e
reflectem a interactividade entre os diversos intervenientes na comunidade educativa.
Paralelamente apresenta-se um conjunto de boas práticas, ilustradas com um protótipo de baixa
fidelidade para o desenvolvimento de Web sites de instituições educativas.
Para analisar os Web sites foi concebida uma grelha constituída por diversos parâmetros
que resultaram da revisão bibliográfica sobre concepção e análise de Web sites em geral e de
Web sites escolares em particular, para além da visualização de Web sites escolares de outros
distritos, do ponto de vista de investigadores da área. A grelha integra quatro dimensões:
Identificação e Indicadores de Contexto, Conteúdos Disponibilizados, Apresentação da
Informação e Elementos de Navegação e de Orientação no Web site.
O estudo incidiu sobre dezassete Web sites oficiais, dos quais três pertencem a Escolas
Secundárias não Agrupadas e os restantes são de Agrupamentos de Escolas (um único Web site
que integra os estabelecimentos de educação e de ensino de um mesmo concelho). Da análise
realizada, verificámos que a informação mais divulgada pelos Estabelecimentos de ensino
público é relativo à sua própria instituição, nomeadamente os contactos. Relativamente aos
Conteúdos Disponibilizados, salientam-se os Documentos Orientadores, presentes na maioria
dos Estabelecimentos de ensino público. No que concerne à presença de tecnologias, associadas
ao Web site, é notória a presença da plataforma Moodle, em todos os Web sites analisados,
assim como a presença de blogues criados pelos elementos da comunidade educativa. Outra
presença relevante é o jornal electrónico da Escola. As principais lacunas incidem sobretudo na
ausência de serviços administrativos e de comunicação online. We live in a society where the information is without doubt important and the Internet the
main mean of communication accessible and useful to people with diverse interests and
occupations. Aware of this reality, the educational institutions started to show promotional
information and divulgation of the educative offer, among other educational contents, to their
education community. Thus, the main purpose of this study is to analyze the presence of the
institutional web of non-grouped secondary schools and public school groups in the district of
Bragança in the Internet.
Furthermore, it is also meant to examine whether the schools have the content and
information to educational providers, as well as verifying the activities promoted in schools
and reflect the interaction between different actors in the educational community.
Parallel it is presented a good practice group, illustrated with a prototype of low fidelity to the
development of educational institutions Web sites.
To analyze the sites it was designed a grid based on bibliography about web analytics
in general, school sites, school Web sites from view of other districts, from the standpoint of
researchers in the field and other items considered important for the study. The grid includes
four dimensions: Identification, Available Content, Presentation of Information and Guidance
and Navigation Elements on the site. The Study integrated seventeen sites of educational
institutions, of which three belong the not grouped Secondary schools and the remaining are
of the Grouping of Schools, this has an only integral site that integrates the establishments of
education and teaching of the same municipality. From the analysis made, we found that more
information is disseminated through the schools on their own, particular contacts. Concerning
the Contents Provided, associated to the site, we highlight the Guiding Documents,
Administration and Management Bodies, present in most sites of educational institutions.
Regarding to the presence of new technologies, it is notorious the presence of the Moodle
Platform, in all the analyzed sites, as well as the presence of blogs created by the elements of
the educational community. Other relevant presence is the electronic newspaper of the
School, with a significant bet in the new technologies. The main lacks are based mainly in the
absence of the administrative services and online communication services.
Concerning the sites design, we consider that these were appropriated to their
objectives as well as to the public-target.
