O presente relatĆ³rio descreve as actividades desenvolvidas no EstĆ”gio
Curricular, integrado no Mestrado em Engenharia QuĆmica, na empresa Motassis,
SA, sedeada em Pombal.
A Motassis Ć© uma empresa de transformaĆ§Ć£o e reciclagem de materiais plĆ”sticos.
Produz diversos artefactos, recorrendo ao processo de injecĆ§Ć£o, e tubos, varas
e filme pelo processo de extrusĆ£o. Para esse fim, recorre sobretudo ao
polietileno e polipropileno.
O estĆ”gio teve a duraĆ§Ć£o de seis meses e visava contribuir para a
implementaĆ§Ć£o de um Sistema de Qualidade na fĆ”brica, com base nas normas ISO
9001:2000. O projecto permitiu efectivamente sistematizar e organizar a
informaĆ§Ć£o do quotidiano fabril, melhorar prĆ”ticas diĆ”rias que se traduzem num
melhor desempenho e atĆ© em reduĆ§Ć£o de custos de produĆ§Ć£o.
Foi, ainda, uma experiĆŖncia deveras enriquecedora e estimulante para o autor
na medida em que lhe permitiu um contacto directo com a realidade industrial
portuguesa. Teve, igualmente, oportunidade de verificar o quĆ£o importante Ć© um
ambiente de trabalho sadio, como o que vigora nesta empresa, para o bom
funcionamento da organizaĆ§Ć£o como um todo. This report describes the activities developed along the Curricular Training,
integratedin the Master of Chemical Engineering, on Motassis SA company with
headquarters in Pombal.
Motassis is a processing and recycling plastic materials company. It produces
several articles using the process of injection, and tubes, rods and film by
the extrusion process. The main raw materials are polyethylene and
polypropylene.
The Training had a duration of six months and aimed to contribute for the
implementationof a Quality System in the plant, based on ISO 9001:2000. The
project allowed effectively to systematize and organize the information of
production, improve daily practices thatget translated into better performance
and even reduction of production costs.
It was also a truly enriching and stimulating experience for the author in the
way that it allowed him to directly contact with the industrial Portuguese
scenario. It was also an opportunity to verify how much important it is a
healthy work environment, as that of this company, for the proper functioning
of the organization as a whole.
