Abstract(s)
The use of consumables in contemporary society is characterized by the use, rejection and replacement of new products. Such behaviors may contribute to pollution and environmental degradation. We leave for the realization of this study assumption change the shape of sulfite paper consumption checked in a public institution of S.T.P, since its manufacture pulp resulting from deforestation to planting of monocultures and specific separation and bleaching processes represent risks for health and the global environment. To achieve the same applied a pre- test 24 participants from 3 sectors installed in building B, to assess their knowledge and behaviors in the face of the problems under study. Then there was an awareness-raising action through the implementation of environmental education strategies (EA). The evaluation of the intervention was done by direct observation to 6 participants, chosen for convenience in the sensitized group, and the result was also positive.
