De um modo geral, a sociedade reconhece a importância da floresta e da natureza.
Embora nas últimas décadas se tenha assistido ao seu despovoamento e à desvalorização
da ruralidade, a beleza e a riqueza das serras permanece para além das diversas
alterações sofridas.
Nos últimos tempos tem-se verificado uma procura, cada vez maior, pelo interior e
pelas serras pelo descanso, pela prática de desporto ou apenas pela fruição da sua beleza
natural e de todos os recursos endógenos e naturais que esses espaços oferecem.
Nesse sentido as Serras do Marão e Aboboreira, ricas em deslumbrantes paisagens,
histórias e tradições são um espaço atrativo, ímpar e que merece ser conhecido, visitado,
cuidado e preservado.
Com o presente trabalho pretende-se elaborar um instrumento que sirva de base para
um planeamento integrado das Serras do Marão e Aboboreira tornando-as um destino
turístico, de preferência, sem perder a sua essência mas aproveitando suas
especificidades.
A área de estudo inclui as freguesias de Ansiães, Candemil, Fridão, Rebordelo, Gouveia
(S. Simão), UF de Aboadela, Sanche e Várzea, UF de Bustelo, Carneiro e Carvalho de
Rei e UF de Olo e Canadelo do Concelho de Amarante.
Trata-se de uma zona heterogénea, quer em termos de relevo quer de paisagem.
Para conseguir alcançar o objetivo pretendido, começamos por determinar a área de
estudo e caracterizá-la.
Elaboraram-se de seguida várias cartas de apoio à decisão que permitiram fazer o
zonamento das Serras de forma a definir as melhores zonas de fruição e as atividades
melhor adaptadas a cada local, bem como as áreas prioritárias para arborização.
Elaboraram-se também cartas de fruição e valorização da serra para que quem a procura
saiba o que encontrar e onde.
Os resultados obtidos permitiram um conhecimento mais profundo do Complexo
Marão-Aboboreira, e a definição de algumas atividades e ações que poderão integrar um
plano estratégico para o território. Com os mapas finais percebeu-se toda a dinâmica da
Contributos para o planeamento integrado da utilização das Serras do Marão e Aboboreira, Amarante
área e concretizaram-se propostas para implementação de novos trilhos, melhoria de
infraestruturas e de serviço, bem como as zonas onde a biodiversidade pode ser o fator
mais importante ajudando na definição de zonas de proteção ou de produção.
In general, society recognizes the importance of forest and nature. Although in recent decades we have witnessed its depopulation and the devaluation of rurality, the beauty and richness of the mountains remains beyond the various changes undergone. In recent times, there has been a growing demand for the interior and mountains for rest, for the practice of sport or just for the enjoyment of its natural beauty and all the endogenous and natural resources that these spaces offer. In this sense, the Sierras do Marão and Aboboreira, rich in breathtaking landscapes, stories and traditions are an attractive, unique space that deserves to be known, visited, cared for and preserved. The present work intends to elaborate an instrument that will serve as a basis for an integrated planning of the Marão and Aboboreira Mountains, making them a tourist destination, preferably without losing its essence but taking advantage of its specificities. The area of study includes the parishes of Ansiães, Candemil, Fridão, Rebordelo, Gouveia (S. Simão), UF de Aboadela, Sanche and Várzea, UF of Bustelo, Carneiro and Carvalho de Rei and UF de Olo and Canadelo of the Municipality of Amarante . It is a heterogeneous zone, both in terms of relief and landscape. In order to achieve the desired goal, we begin by determining the area of study and characterizing it. Several letters of support for the decision were then elaborated that allowed to make the zoning of the Sierras in order to define the best zones of fruition and the activities better adapted to each place, as well as the priority areas for afforestation. They also elaborated letters of fruition and valorization of the mountain so that those who seek it know what to find and where. The results obtained allowed a deeper knowledge of the Marão-Aboboreira Complex, and the definition of some activities and actions that could integrate a strategic plan for the territory. With the final maps, all the dynamics of the area were realized and proposals were made for the implementation of new rails, improvement of infrastructures and of service, as well as the zones where the biodiversity can be the most important factor helping in the definition of zones of protection Or production.
