Uma empresa que é referência a nível mundial só consegue atingir este nível de excelência que tem nos dias de hoje, através da capacidade de resposta que conseguem ter face ao mercado onde está inserida. Assim, com a evolução da indústria automóvel e com a exigência dos diversos clientes, sempre que surge um novo produto, é necessário implementar uma nova linha de produção da maneira mais rápida e eficaz possível, garantindo sempre o máximo de eficiência e qualidade dos produtos.
O principal objetivo deste estágio curricular foi o de acompanhar diferentes elementos do departamento em que estive integrado e desta forma realizar diferentes tipos de trabalho. Foi realizado durante o estágio o acompanhamento de uma linha de produção, verificando os locais mais críticos de onde foram causadas sucatas, sendo apresentado no ‘top 5’ do departamento para assim serem realizadas ações para eliminar essas causas. Também foi realizado um estudo para ser feita a troca do fio de soldadura numa linha de produção para uma alternativa mais barata, sendo analisadas as paragens, sucatas e rework causadas pela soldadura que foram causadas antes e depois da mudança. Ao analisar estes dados foi possível também fazer o estudo dos custos diretos e indiretos provocados por esta mudança.
Todo o trabalho realizado teve um impacto positivo para a empresa, tanto pela mudança do fio de soldadura que reduziu custos para a empresa, mas também pela realização de diversas instruções de trabalho standard work que ajudaram a definir qual o método para realizar o trabalho para cada situação.
A company, that is a worldwide reference, can reach and maintain standards of excellence in the nowadays, having response capacity to its demanding market. With the evolution of the automotive industry and the demand of several clients, whenever a new product reaches the market, it is necessary to implement a new production line, the fastest and more effective way as possible, always keeping in mind the efficiency and product quality. The main objective of the internship was to receive training from different elements of the department where I was included, in order to be able to perform different types of tasks. During the internship, it was done a study of the production line, verifying the most critical spots, where parts with defects were caused, being presented in the “top 5” of the department, so as to be taken actions in order to eliminate those causes. It was also done a study to change the welding wire in a production line to a cheaper alternative, being analyzed the stops, parts with defects and rework caused during welding, before and after the change. All the performed work had a positive impact in the company, either by changing the welding wire (reducing considerably costs), but also by the performing of several work instructions (standard work) that helped to define the method to perform the work for each situation.
